Small-format ice cubes

Small ice cubes for diverse applications

For 60 kg to 850 kg a day

Micro ice cubes have an edge length of approx. 7 x 7 x 7 mm. In respect of use, their format puts them nearer to flake ice and crushed ice rather than the classical cube

A very special ice-making technology is used to produce fine micro-ice cubes. The special producing process ensures that the small square cubes have a temperature of precisely 0°C and - compared to flake or crushed ice - their edges are not as sharp. As a result, micro cubes are eminently suited for the presentation, storage and transport of food.

Moreover, the small square ice cubes can be used in a variety of ways not only in gastronomy, the retail trade and fish industry but also in other fields as well. For instance for cooling purposes in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, in physiotherapy and in making cold meats/sausages and pastries at the butcher's, baker's and in the foodstuffs industry.

Micro-cube makers are available in various versions and of various outputs. An overview of the WESSAMAT supply programme is on Page 5 of the Product overview.
