Competence in ice-cube making

WESSAMAT was founded in 1978 by Theo Wessa in Mackenbach and is still today the only producer of ice cube makers and ice crushers in Germany. The company's success has been largely determined by the unique ice-making technology ("wave technology") patented and developed by WESSAMAT. Fresh directions have been undertaken in the fields of technology and model diversity over the past few years. Innovative products and individual, customer-oriented approaches have led to the tapping of new business fields beyond traditional markets. This is an important requirement for a continuation of the positive company trends.

To date more than 50,000 WESSAMAT ice cube makers and ice crushers have been sold. Marketing is going on across the world but with the emphasis on Germany and Europe. With more than 50 staff employed at the new Kaiserslautern site, we are doing everything possible to fulfil the wishes of our customers at home and abroad.
